THE DO'S AND DON'TS OF SUCCESSFUL INTERVIEWING
Once you land an interview with the "perfect" family for you, don't blow it with unpolished and unprofessional interview skills! Read on to learn the top five do's and don'ts of successful interviewing.

5 Do's
1. Dress conservatively.
2. Ask questions - it shows interest!
3. When answering questions about experience, try to relate it back to specific
examples.
4. Ask about the interview process and follow-up procedure.
5. Send a polite, legibly-written thank you note or card following the interview.

5 Don'ts
1. Be late! If anything, be at least 10 minutes early.
2. Talk badly about previous employers, co-workers, managers, etc...
3. Be afraid to let your interviewers know that you are nervous. Merely say
that you are very excited about this opportunity and ask them to please excuse
any nervousness.
4. Chew gum, slouch, or use crude language.
5. Be a "no show." If you cannot make the interview or need to re-schedule,
it is courteous to let them know at least 24 hours in advance.
